This week, the prompt words for Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Challenge are CHEER and CALL.
If you’ve never tried out a haiku before, and you’d like to learn more, click here to read Ronovan’s article on how to write a haiku poem in English form.
In respect of the month, my haiku this week relates to Halloween. It was the first thing that popped into my head, so I went with it! Enjoy 🙂
As a bonus, it was my intention to join in the fun last week too and, although I wrote a haiku, I didn’t get around to posting it – so here it is (prompt words pine and grief):
Mother Nature grieves
when all around her seems lost
she pines for the earth
Thanks for stopping by.
