There have been a few changes to the prompt series at WR101. The daily prompts are taking a break, but will hopefully return in the new year. The weekly contest over at Featured Fiction will still run, but is now a prompt only series. For the first week of the new format, the genre is Action-Adventure. Enjoy!

Mel, I really enjoy the featured fictions prompt series. Being a little competitive I’ll miss the award part but it’s certainly not the highlight of the experience, it’s the community. It’s reading great pieces and the creative outlet of others. It’s development of furthering your own writing experience. I commend you and all you do for supporting and keeping this prompt series going. I’ve learned a great deal in the last year watching and participating. Thank you!
