Not your run-of-the-mill Superhero

Some of you might know that I don’t write poetry unless I’m either challenged or psych myself up for it! Since Paul Burgess gave me a friendly challenge to write a Limerick, I decided to take him up on it. Paul has some crazy mad skills when it comes to poetry, and he favours the Limerick, so I’m hoping this hits the spot πŸ™‚

It’s based on a character I’ve been dragging around with me for quite a while (Lance Legion), and I’m particularly fond of him.

I hope you enjoy it.

Not your run-of-the-mill superhero

Thanks for reading.

    1. Thanks, Callum. You’re right, I really enjoyed the challenge of it. I’m so glad you liked it, and it’s a real compliment when someone with your skills can appreciate what I was trying to do πŸ™‚

  1. I am so thrilled you gave it a shot! It turned out nicely, and now I am curious to learn more about this hero:) I like the idea of a superhero limerick put to music as the hero’s theme song;)

    1. That sounds like a fabulous idea, though I think I’ll leave it to someone else! I love Lance, he’s a constant presence and I don’t mind a bit. Thanks for commenting πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, that’s a huge compliment. I know it isn’t particularly funny, but it doesn’t come naturally to me, as it clearly does to you and I’m proud of what I did with it πŸ™‚

I'd love to hear from you.
